Is love possible?

Of course love is possible and it can be the most exhilirating emotion we can have. But like my friend said, you have to be o.k. with your self first. Jesus showed us what real love is and how if its real, how it will manifest itself in our lives... He's the perfect example. But can we empty ourselves in that way? Can we be o.k. with nothing for the benefit of the other? Can we sacrifice for the benefit of the other without expecting anything, just because? If the the answer is "no", than love isnt there. Than you are only using the person as a means to an end. Companionship, sex, finances, social, etc. As you say buddy, "BRINGING THE NOISE"......
